How to get to the Enchanted Forest Site

Drive to the main gate of the Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve, where you will find ample parking, free picnic tables and a restaurant.  Please arrive early and no later than 7:00 pm.  From there you will travel by bus for 15 minutes to and from the Enchanted Forest wilderness site.

Haliburton Forest & Wildlife Reserve is located on Kenessis Lake Road (County Road 7), 18 km North of Highway 118 at West Guilford.  Follow the signs to Haliburton Forest and Wolf Centre and then follow the signs to the main gate of the Haliburton Forest.

Allow 30 minutes from Carnarvon or Haliburton to reach the main gate.

Directions:
From Toronto, Barrie and Muskoka:
Take Highway 11 North to Muskoka Falls.
Turn East on 118 through Carnarvon to West Guilford
From  Sudbury, North Bay and Bracebridge:
Take Highway 11 South to Muskoka Falls.
Turn East on 118 through Carnarvon to West Guilford
From Lindsay:
Take Highway 35 North through Minden to Carnarvon.
Turn East on 118 to West Guilford
From Peterborough:
Take Hwy 7 west to County Road 10 North to Bobcageon, Kinmount, Minden and Carnarvon.
Turn East on 118 to West Guilford.
From Cobourg and Port Hope:
Take County Rd 10 North thought Welcome, Milbrook, around the sourthern tip of Pigeon Lake and follow signs to Bobcageon, Kinmount, Minden to Carnarvon.
Turn East on 118 to West Guilford.
From Ottawa and Renfrew
 Take Hwy 41 West to Denbigh and Hwy 28 through Bancroft to Paudash.
Turn West on Hwy 121 and follow the signs through Haliburton to West Guilford.
