Arrival Time

Please arrive early and no later than 7 p.m.
You will be driven by bus from the Main Gate to the Enchanted Forest site and back. 
The bus leaves at 6:30, 6:45, 7:00 and 7:15 p.m.
Latecomers cannot be accommodated.  Plan your travel time accordingly.
Allow 30 minutes travel from Haliburton or Carnarvon to the Main Gate

Where to Eat

Haliburton Forest Family Restaurant and Variety Store is located across from the Main Gate, licensed and seats 60 people.  The menu includes pasta, ribs, wraps, low cal, vegetarian and many other dishes. 
The restaurant will not accept Enchanted Forest patrons after 6:00 pm.  Reservations: 705 754-1729 

Washrooms
Haliburton Forest Family Restaurant located across from the main gate.
There are porta-potties at the Enchanted Forest site.

Footwear and Clothing

The Enchanted Forest takes place in the Canadian wilderness. You will walk through darkness on prepared, but uneven trails.  Appropriate footwear and warm clothing is strongly recommended. 
Folding chairs not recommended.

Flashlights and Umbrellas

Flashlights recommended for individuals, who have difficulty walking in the dark.  Umbrellas are permitted

Bring a Picnic!

Patria fans love the outdoors and can spread their blankets and gourmet foods out on the field near the Main Gate.  A limited number of picnic tables are available under the trees near the restaurant.  There is nice public picnic site located at the corner of Highway 118 and Kennessis Lake road (County Rd 7).

Bring the Kids

The show is appropriate for children aged 5 and older accompanied by an adult.

How long does it last?

The duration is about 2 hours plus the bus ride.
