The three-horned enemy (a recurring archetype in the Patria Cycle)

This work was originally presented near Brampton ON in 1981. A subsequent production near Banff AB in 1985 drew an audience of over 5000. A third production was presented in the Haliburton Forest in 1997.

The canoe-based set pieces were designed to be seen from a distance in the half-light conditions of dawn. This one was built by participants in a workshop at the Haliburton School of The Arts in the summer of 1997.
